With respect to the Trust `marketing the Robert Peel services to the public` I am a member of the public and this has not happened. When I turned up at the minor injuries clinic with a daughter in severe pain from a kidney infection, we were told by the nurse who treated her that we should not have gone there. And my GP practice is telling people to consult a pharmacist in the first instance. 111 directs everyone to Good Hope. The NHS does not have a clear message for the public as where it should go and with what. There are mixed messages coming from all the different first points of contact. This means that it looks as if the minor injuries clinic is under-utilised. It is impossible to park at Good Hope, full stop. It is also too difficult to travel to in any other way. Therefore the Robert Peel minor injuries unit should be the designated place to go and there should be a consistent, across the board message that says so.
