From over 16,000 sites across the UK, the high quality and organisation of Keepers Road in Little Aston by Geoff Hale from Firstpost Homes in Tamworth has been celebrated as part of the NHBC Pride in the Job Awards.
The builders winning the award have created homes of outstanding quality and have been honoured by NHBC, the leading warranty and insurance provider in the UK, in the 2016 Pride in the Job Awards.
Pride in the Job is the only UK-wide competition dedicated to recognising site managers who achieve the highest standards in housebuilding and is the highest industry accolade a site manager can receive. The competition is now in its 36th year.
Commenting on the award, local Tamworth MP Christopher Pincher, said: "I am delighted to congratulate Geoff Hale and proud to be the local MP for some really outstanding work. I was delighted to attend the NHBC event in Westminster to highlight the flag which will fly at the Keepers Road development in Tamworth to demonstrate the high standards of homes being built in the area. Mr Hale is an important contributor to the local economy and this award is proof that Tamworth continues to be a great place to work and live in."
Lewis Sidnick, NHBC's Director of External Affairs said: "NHBC supports the industry in maintaining and improving the build quality of new homes for homebuyers, whilst providing the benefit of our 10-year Buildmark warranty protection. The NHBC Pride in the Job Awards have been recognising excellence for 36 years and the awards have been instrumental in driving up the quality of new homes. With over 15,000 sites competing for the prestigious awards, our winners are right to be delighted with themselves and their developments."
